Replacement cast brass Becker medallion B, as identified in the Horolovar 400 Day Clock Repair Guide. Manufactured by TorsionK.
These replacement medallions were cast from molds of an original stamped medallion, and capture the fine details of the original very precisely. They are ready to install: The casting spur on the back has been filed down, mounting holes drilled, and 2 mounting screws are provided.
Becker made provision for these decorative pieces on their standard models under glass domes with two threaded holes under the dial on the front plate. Many clocks were sold without a medallion, and some have been lost. According to research by John Hubby, medallion B (tulips on either side of a sphere) was used on clocks produced from 1922 to 1925, having serial numbers between 2370001 and 2468000.
